- Using a standing mixer combine castor sugar with eggs until they become fluffy. Then dd butter and milk and mix all together until the batter is uniform. Add flour, baking powder and mix it well together. Pour the batter inside a low pie dish. Now cut the pears into large chunks and push them gently inside the batter. Sprinkle with brown sugar and some walnuts. Bake on 350 F for around 35 min or until golden.
