Vanilla ice cream cakes

Vanilla cake cones

Back in the days I would be preparing margaritas for a party, but these days the word party has a slightly different meaning ;). So these cute little cakes are perfect for a party where kids are invited, and they are really simple to make too.
You could even use a ready made cake mix if you wish. Here is what you need :

Ice cream cones

Angel cake:
5 eggs
1 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Icing
1/4 cup soft butter
Icing sugar

Chocolate chips and colourful sprinkles

Start by placing tightly ice cream cones in the baking dish:

Prepare the cake micture by first mixing together eggs with sugar until thick. Then slowly add flour , baking powder and salt. Gently pour the mixture in to ice cream cones. Bake on 350F for around 20 minutes or until golden. Now prepare the icing. Just mix together butter with icing sugar.

And they are ready to decorate ! Just make sure they cool down or your icing will melt down.

Angel food cake the easy way

This is the most fast and easy, yet extremely delicious angel cake that I have ever had.And I had many.It’s my mother-in-low and one of her old french cookbooks who’s behind this amazing cake, so I’m only sharing her secret with you 🙂

5 eggs
1 cup of pastry flour
1 cup of sugar
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of salt

whipped cream
wild blueberries
wild raspberries

In your mixer (Kitchen Aide) mix eggs adding slowly sugar.When it’s thick add slowly the blend of flour, baking powder and salt. Bake on 350 F for around 45 min. Make some whipped cream.When your cake is ready add whipped cream and fruits. Cherish your summer!
