Summer is all about the sences- how the sun kisses your skin, how the ripe peach smells and the homemade ice cream tastes- it’s all unforgettable!
And one of the biggest summer pleasures is homemade Peaches and Cream ice cream- there’s nothing better on a hot summer day to be honest! And these easy to make Peaches & Cream ice cream are my new obsession- creamy, sweet and a bit tangy, perfect for those endless summer days!
Best thing- you don’t need an ice cream machine to make it, and all you need are three simple ingredients! If only adulting would always be as simple as making these ice cream!
What you’ll need:
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 6 ripe peaches
Start by peeling the peaches and then cutting them in medium chunks. ( Leave one on the side for decorating the ice cream) Then, using a potato masher, mach them in a mushy pulp ( ok this does not sound yummy, but if your peaches are really fresh and ripe it will smell delicious!) in a large bowl. Try to pour out excessive liquid ( but don’t throw it away! It’s a freshly squeezed peach juice, my baby loved drinking it!) Now set aside.
Whip the cream ( you can add a small teaspoon of sugar)
Now very slowly mix the whipped cream, with the condescended milk and the peach pulp.
Pour into a glass dish, add slices of the peach you have set aside before, and freeze overnight!
Serve in an ice cream cone or in a bowl and enjoy on a hot summer day!
