Easy overnight oats
Creamy, healthy and so easy to prepare, overnight oats are a perfect busy morning solution! At first when I saw them being made and posted on Pinterest, I didn’t really believe in that recipe being simple.. But it is! And so diverse!
We already had them made with yoghurt, soya milk, and regular milk, with peanut butter, nuts and fruits! Honestly anything goes!
The best part is that since I discovered this way of preparing oats, my mornings are a breeze, and my daughter (a huge oatmeal lover) is in such a good mood!
But the one I want to share with you, is this one, super creamy, and very healthy! I made this overnight oats with Greek yoghurt, soya milk and chia seeds. And they turned out so yummy that my daughter was asking me for third portion!
Almond chia vanilla overnight oats:
1 cup oats
1/2 cup Greek yoghurt
2/3 cup soya milk ( can be replaced by normal milk)
1/4 cup chia seeds
1/4 cup shredded almonds
1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 teaspoon Maple sirup ( or brown sugar)
Mix all of the ingredients in a mason jar. Stir. And put in a fridge for the night.
You can serve it cold or warmed up, that’s totally up to you!
