Gnome garden
When I was little I was in to gnomes, not fairies. Probably that’s because I had this beautiful book about gnomes, full of amazing illustrations. Recently I found a pair of ceramic gnomes while shopping at Target, and it got me thinking that I should make a fairy Gnome garden :). And I wanted a flower arrangement that from far would look like perfectly normal flower pot. But when you get closer, you are invited in to tiny gnome garden :). I must tell you, my daughter loves it ! She was totally enchanted by the idea of making a gnome garden, and now she checks on them all the time to see if they are fine!
What you’ll need :
Big pot
Plants
Soil
Figurines
Broken pieces for the stairs
Wood sticks
Cupcake toppers.
Little rocks
Arrange your plants in the pot, leave some space for the broken pieces that’ll form the stairs. Add wooden sticks, cupcake toppers and little rocks. Place your figurines. Water the plants.
Now make up some fairy tales about gnomes living in your garden !
This is such a cute idea!
I’m glad you like it !:)
Bardzo piekne Joasiu !!!
Love your little gnome garden. I’ve got several ‘gnomy’ and fairy things in my garden.
Thank you 🙂 I’ll definitely check your gardening tips ! 🙂
So cute! I loved gnomes as a kid, too. There was a show on Nickelodeon with this little gnome family. I forget what it was called, but it was my favorite show! Oh, memories. 😉 Have a great day!
Thank you ! I should find that show for my little girl 🙂
such a cute idea! making up the little stories is the best part 🙂
Came out great. We have a few fairy gardens around here 🙂
How sweet is this! I don’t have much room for plants, so may as well make them count, this is such a clever idea.
so cute, love all the details!
That is so sweet! And kind of unrelated- what font is “gnome” on your top picture? I love it!
Valerie , I use Rhona app, that’s one of their fonts.
This is absolutely adorable. Having boys, I never thought a “fairy” garden would be an option but I guess I was too boxed in to not think of a ‘gnome’ garden – brilliant and beautiful Joanna!
Thank you so much Katy 🙂
That is so adorable !! You do the cutest things! Thank you for sharing on Merry Monday Linky! Julia
How adorable. I’m working on a fairy garden with my dd at the moment and hope to have it on the blog next week. Thanks for sharing this on Merry Monday.
I love this! Can’t wait to try it out with the kids:)
I need a gnome garden. Kids or no kids, I love it.
