Chocolate blondies
Sometimes in life you just find yourself with overload of chocolate bars and candies. Like after Halloween. There’s option one, eating it all , or another one, which is making a blondie with it. And of course, we love baking at our home, so this is always the option that we prefer!
And I love blondies, but mixed with chocolate candy bars they get a bit too heavy. That’s why I made this one with apple sauce (also because I was out of eggs, but let’s keep they a secret!). And honestly it works really great together ! It’s just difficult to decide if this is a healthy treat or not. Whatever you decide, it makes for a great family friendly dessert!
What you’ll need :
2 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup brown sugar ( I’ve cut on the sugar, but you can make it 1 cup)
2 cup apple sauce ( for a classic blonde 2 eggs instead)
2/3 cup of soft butter
2 cups of chocolate bars and candies cut in pieces
Mix the dry ingredients together, add apple sauce, and butter, and in the end chopped chocolate bars. Bake for around 40 min on 360F. Once cooled down, keep in the cold and dry place.
And what are your favourite blondies, or brownies?
