Chocolate peanut butter gingerbread shake
I believe in balance in life, and that’s why some days, all I need is a little over-the-top festive treat: like this Chocolate Peanut Butter Gingerbread Shake! I’m a sucker for anything gingerbread and even bigger one for peanut butter, so obviously I needed to try these two together! And guess what: they are made for each other!
You could absolutely serve it hot if you’d like, or cold like I did, and I’m sure your kids would love it too. Mine sure did!
And, if you’d like to make it extra special (though for adults only) you could add a bit of Bailey’s!
What you’ll need :
2 cups milk
1 cup natural smooth peanut butter
1 tablespoon chocolate souse
1/4 cup well crushed gingerbread cookies
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Foamed milk (or whipped cream)
Mix everything well together. Pour in to glasses, and top with foamed milk or whipped cream.
You can top it up with even more chocolate souse and some gingerbread cookies!
And if you’d like your Chocolate peanut butter gingerbread shake look extra special and festive, just add some red ribbons and maybe some Christmas straws? I know for myself that everything tastes better with a ribbon and a pretty straw!
