Crochet Easter egg

So when I told you that me and my mom we like to try something new every Easter I meant it 🙂 . This year my mom decided to make a crochet Easter egg, and I must admit that all I did was taking pictures.. I still don’t know how to knit but as it’s mentioned I am a lazy mom, right ? So here is how she did it :

Honestly when she started I was sure it will take her ages :

But after not more than 10 minutes she was already trying it on:

And then she was knitting with the egg inside her crochet cozy:

And she finished with a little bow. Next year it’s me doing another colour 🙂 . Would any of you try it? I’m curious 🙂 .
