The best chocolate cinnamon mud cake
Here is your next favourite dessert :chocolate cinnamon mud cake! It’s dense, it’s extremely chocolaty, it’s gooey and it has this lovely cinnamon touch to it. So next time you can’t decide if you should make a regular chocolate cake or a brownie (oh the tough choices we need to make!) this is exactly what you need.
I love to pair this kind of dense chocolaty goodness whit a simple layer of melted chocolate, that after cooling down cracks and crunches. But that’s me, if you prefer the regular chocolate icing then go for it!
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 cup melted butter
2 eggs
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup melted chocolate chips
1/4 cup milk
1 cup self-raising cake flour
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1/3 cup cacao
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Mix together butter, eggs, sugars, melted chocolate chips and milk. Then slowly add flour, cinnamon, and cacao. When all the ingredients are well mixed pour the batter in to your baking dish and bake on 350F for around 35 minutes ( to until the centre seems to be set)
When it’s cooled down, melt your remaining 1/2 cup of chocolate chips, and spread over your cinnamon chocolate cake. And if you have kids add sprinkles! If you ask my daughter she’ll tell you that everything is better with sprinkles.
Enjoy with a glass of cold milk or coffee (yes, I had it for breakfast).
Mmm!! I LOVE homemade chocolate cake. Fantastic pics, btw!
Thank you Valerie !
