European vibes master bathroom- ORC week 1

The time has come, we’re finally renovating our ensuite master bathroom! If you have ever set your eyes on a builders grade 80ties bathroom with its original huge pedestal bath (not working) a huge floor to ceiling cheap mirror glued directly to the wall and a horrible dingy old shower then you know exactly how our bathroom looks like!

But we have great plans for this space and with the 10th anniversary of One Room Challenge I knew I needed to hop on that train, again 🙂

So first, let me show you where we’re starting:

I know, it’s depressing!

The huge broken bath, shower and that “magnificent” mirror are origina to the house- hello 80ties!

The floor tiles and vanities where added recently by the previous owner and thanks to them I survived the last two years in this bathroom- but we are getting rid of everything here anyway as our plan consist of moving the shower to a new place and these vanities just have to go.

Let me show you my plan now! Aka, european vibes master bathroom that I have dreamed about for the last two years!

The new bathroom will have a free standing bath tub under the window, a new large shower, a beautiful double vanity, vintage white and blue toile wallpaper on all four walls, beautiful hand crafted tiles and gold accents throughout. I can’t wait to get started!
