3 spring living room decor tips to transform your space in minutes

This year decorating for spring feels so trivial compared to the news we keep hearing- but it’s also essential for my well being. So in case you’re feeling like me- unable to put a lot of effort but needing a fresh spring vibe around you- let me share with you my five best tips for spring vibes in your own home! I’m also encouraging you to check my talented blogging friends spring inspirations below!

1. Add lots of fresh plants!

Green is the essence of spring! And even one fresh house plant can make a difference; but honestly instead of decorating with faux plants and expensive florals consider investing in potted house plants- they add colour, texture and freshness plus they clean your air!

2. Change art on your walls with free printables and thrifted finds!

For me spring means fresh air, nature walks and day trips; and so my gallery wall is featuring all that makes me think of it: a thrifted Monet piece, a photo from Venice, some fauna & my blue abstract art, it all feels so fresh !

3. Go for a spring colour palette.

Green & blue is my favourite now, but consider also pink & green, yellow & white , pink & yellow or green and white- and then shop your home for pillows, accessories, textiles or books that can repeat your colours throughout the room!

That’s it- no need for expensive centrepieces, elaborative decor or bunny themed everything ( though it can be all very cute) spring decor can be as simple as a fresh colour palette, new art and green vibes- all that will transform your home from winter to spring in no time!

Today some of my friends are sharing their Spring home decor ideas for their Living Room. Be sure to visit their posts by using the links below the images.
